We are delighted to announce that we will be partnering with the wonderful people at the Creative Computing Club for our 48 hour Hackathon in March 2020 at the University of Suffolk.
We will be encouraging the young minds at the Creative Computing Club to take on the same challenges the adults will be tackling, albeit as a separate competition, within the the theme “The Outdoors and Agriculture”.
They will work offsite at their purpose built computing school in Ipswich and bring back their solutions to be pitched alongside the adults competition as they compete for the inaugural “Junior Innovation Trophy”.
The Creative Computing Club CIC set up in 2012 has worked with several thousand young people across Suffolk, helping them to engage in worthwhile and inspiring technology-based activities. Through its informal and non-competitive environment, it has allowed them to gain confidence and qualifications in areas that interest them the most and are relevant to today’s tech sector needs.
The Creative Computing Club has allowed a myriad young people with different needs to grow in confidence and become aware of the vast array of technology opportunities around them.
